What AQE scores do schools require for admission?

What you need to score in the AQE to guarantee entry is impossible to state – even the schools don’t know until the results are in. That said, previous years can give some indication.

Points to note…

1	Not all applicants on this score may have secured entry – secondary criteria may have been applied to separate candidates with level scores. Refer to an individual school’s entry policy for these criteria.
2	Some AQE schools only academically select on part of their intake, with a certain percentage of the intake coming from separate criteria, such as proximity to the school. If you are interested in attending Sullivan Upper; Royal School, Dungannon; Royal School, Armagh; Carrickfergus Grammar; Wallace High School or Strabane Academy then refer to the schools’ own criteria for further information.
3	Lowest admitted scores can, and do, change from year to year.
4	These do not include candidates who were admitted under special circumstances.
